Lifelong Learning Programme

LEONARDO DA VINCI Programme aims to meet the needs of teaching and learning of all stakeholders in education and training, excluding advanced education and training at tertiary level, as well as the institutions and organizations providing or facilitating such education and training .
LEONARDO DA VINCI Programme includes the following types of decentralized actions:

Mobility Projects

  • Mobility of People for Vocational Training (IVT);
  • Mobility of People in the Labour Market (PMT);
  • Mobility of Professionals in Education and Training (VETPRO)

PARTNERSHIPS

  • LEONARDO DA VINCI Partnerships;

MULTILATERAL PROJECTS

  • Transfer of Innovation Projects (ITP).

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • Support participants in training and improving the acquisition and use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European labor market;
  • To help improve the quality and innovation of systems, institutions and practices of education and training;
  • Enhance the attractiveness of education and training and mobility for employers and individuals and to facilitate the mobility of working trainees.

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Improve the quality and increase the volume, throughout Europe, the mobility of participants in initial vocational education and training and continuing training, so as to increase placements in enterprises to at least 80 000 per year until the end Program of Lifelong Learning;
  • Improve the quality and increase the volume of cooperation between institutions or organizations providing learning opportunities, enterprises, social partners and other relevant bodies throughout Europe;
  • Facilitate the development and transfer of innovative practices in education and training, not higher level, including from one participating country to others;
  • Improve the transparency and recognition of qualifications and competences including those acquired through non-formal and informal;
  • Encourage the learning of modern foreign languages;
  • Support the development of content, services, pedagogies and innovative ICT-based learning in the field of lifelong
